Our story
Zeiser Wilbert Vault, Inc was started in 1946 by Dick Zeiser and Jack Mikkelsen as a small burial vault company. Jack then expanded upon a larger precast product line. Charles Kottwitz bought the business from Jack in 1994 and was instrumental in expanding the business even further.
A family concrete business with family values, Zeiser Precast is owned and operated by Stephanie Risley.
Zeiser Precast is a second-generation family business serving the southern tier of NY and the Northern Tier of PA for over 75 years. Owner and President Stephanie Risley has 17+ years of experience in the industry and is committed to providing high-quality precast concrete products to contractors, municipalities, and funeral directors.
Stephanie grew up within the family business, learning the ropes from her parents, Charles and Sandra Kottwitz, first-generation owners. Upon stepping into the role, Stephanie prioritized the importance of leadership in order to ensure and facilitate the continued growth of the family legacy. Guiding the business through the next phase of growth has quickly become one of her passions.
Stephanie received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver. She is a driven, lifelong, learner and is dedicated to staying current with the latest trends and technologies in precast concrete, and is consistently exploring ways to improve the business.
Outside of work, Stephanie is a mother of two wonderful children, Natalie and Jacob. When she isn’t leading the business or enjoying time with her children, she is an avid hiker, completing all 46 peaks in the Adirondacks in 2021. Stephanie is grateful for the support of her children, parents, employees, and customers. She looks forward to continuing the family legacy for generations to come.
